As we approach the holiday season purchases in 2020, Apple AirPods seem to be a likely target for opportunists gifts “everything” in the world. A tip this week TFI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that Apple will begin manufacturing AirPods 3 in early 2021. The big question here is: Why should you wait to buy a new pair of AirPods now?
For the note seen by MacRumors, Kuo said that Apple is working on AirPods third generation that will start with the “mass production” in the first half of 2021. Expectations are that 3 AirPods will fit between 2 and AirPods AirPods Pro with respect to features.

It is expected that AirPods 3 have a longer battery life than its predecessors. Although Apple only optimizes performance by a small percentage, every little bit helps – especially when a large number of potential buyers will own current of the first two generations of AirPods.
The price of AirPods 3 will probably be similar to the introductory price of AirPods 2, with the case of wireless charging. AirPods 3 launched with the option of a case of standard load or a wireless charging unit with prices at $ 159 and $ 199. It is possible that there will be two options this time, but less likely that the only wireless charging case option.
